About Course

This course introduces the fundamentals and basics of bioinformatics, molecular biology concepts related to computer applications, common databases and resources, sequence analysis, alignments, BLAST, disease-related databases, motif discovery, Linux, and reproducibility in bioinformatics.

Workload: 12 lectures, 3 hours each. Total workload: 48 hours: 36 hours of lectures and tutorials and 6 hours of self studies.
